1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the IBCS platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Students and lecturers must ensure that all account information is accurate and up-to-date. Sharing access to the Learning Management System (LMS) with unauthorized individuals is strictly prohibited.

3. Academic Integrity

IBCS maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards academic misconduct, including plagiarism, cheating, and the falsification of records. Violations will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include expulsion and the revocation of certifications.

4. Intellectual Property

All course materials, lectures, curriculum designs, and platform interfaces are the exclusive intellectual property of IBCS. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials for personal educational purposes. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation is strictly forbidden.

5. Payment Terms

All programme fees must be paid in accordance with the schedules published on our Admissions page. Failure to clear outstanding balances may result in restricted access to the LMS, withheld examination results, or delayed graduation.

6. Refund Policy

Application fees and examination fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances. Tuition fees are refundable on a tiered schedule based on the date a formal written withdrawal is received, with refunds ranging from 100% (before the start of classes) down to 0% (after the first 10 days of classes). Simply ceasing to attend classes does not constitute an official withdrawal and does not entitle a student to a refund.

7. Code of Conduct

All users must interact with peers, faculty, and administrative staff respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior in any form—whether on the platform or at approved learning centres—will not be tolerated.

8. Platform Usage

The LMS is provided for educational purposes only. Users must not attempt to disrupt platform operations, bypass security measures, or upload malicious software. Acceptable use policies apply at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

While IBCS strives to provide uninterrupted and error-free services, we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available. IBCS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mediation. If unresolved, the dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration in Abuja, Nigeria.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

12. Changes to Terms

IBCS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
